This course will provide installers, technicians, electricians, and engineers with a better understanding of Section 64 of the Canadian Electrical Code, focusing on solar photovoltaic systems.
To take this course you must have either taken our 5 day Solar PV Design and Installation Workshop, be an electrician, an engineer, or have special admittance permission from the instructor.
The training manual will include Section 64 of the 2018 CEC along with some of the wiring schematics, drawings, and pictures from the slide presentation.
Special attention will be given to overcurrent protection, disconnection means, wiring methods, system grounding, markings (system labels), conductors, DC arc fault circuit protection, PV system rapid shutdown, and module bonding.
